Funding for Capital Outlay is from a variety of sources including, but not limited to: the General Fund, the Enterprise Fund (from your water bill), the Streets One-Third Cent Sales Tax, and Special Revenue Funds, such as: the Replacement Fund, the Highway Users Revenue Fund (HURF) (our allocation of the state "gas tax"), the Donation Fund, the Grant Fund, and the Development Impact Fee Fund (from the sales of new homes).
These funds may also receive funding from such sources as grants, bonds, loans, and cash reserves..

Typically, the Town uses a traditional "Design-Bid-Build" procurement process to hire designers and contractors. This means that designers are selected on their qualifications, and contractors are hired by low bid.

Yes. You are permitted to bring a life jacket as long as it is U.S. Coast Guard approved. We do offer free rentals of life jackets at the facility on a first come first served basis. Any life jackets that are not U.S. Coast Guard approved will not be permitted. We do not allow any other type of flotation devices such as inflatable rafts, rings, loungers, water wings or other flotation devices and they will not be allowed in to the facility.
The splash pad is on during Open Swim sessions (1pm – 4:30pm) Monday through Sunday and also during Family Night sessions (6:30pm to 8:00pm) on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The Splash pad will not be turned on during any other programs and it is not available for rental.
The pool is available for rent Friday’s 6:00pm to 10:00pm and Saturday and Sunday from 5:00pm to 10:00pm. The cost for the rental will be dependent upon the length of your rental and how many people that you anticipate being in attendance. Every rental has to be a minimum of 2 hours long with a minimum of 3 lifeguards on duty. A $100.00 refundable deposit is due to hold your date. Please stop by the pool to fill out an agreement.
No. Pool passes or refunds will not be issued due to weather related occurrences no matter what length of time you have been at the pool because the weather is out of our control. We will close the facility for the required amount of time and do our very best to get you back into the pool; however, we will not allow anyone back into the facility until it is safe to do so.
Our season ends in the beginning of August to adjust for the beginning of the school year. With students returning to their classes our staffing levels diminish. We also host the Bradshaw Mountain High School swim team for practice and swim meets. We offer Aqua Aerobics and Lap swim through the end of August to the general public. Please review our Post season schedule and consider the opportunity to rent out the facility.

These types of sales are not allowed on town property. You can give out business cards, flyers, brochures, door prize giveaways and free samples; however no means of purchase is allowed.
Only panning is allowed. If there is no water flow you can dry pan. If you prefer to pan with water you will have to haul in your own water by hand. You are allowed to dig in the creek bed and the shore line provided you replace the soil. Do not damage any plant roots or remove large rocks. Sluice boxes and Dredgers of any kind are strictly prohibited. 10-02-010 Trespass on Town Property. A. It is unlawful for any person to willfully commit any trespass upon Town-owned or leased lands by either cutting down, destroying or injuring any kind of wood or timber growing upon the lands, or digging, taking or carrying away any earth or soil lying or being upon the lands, or under the surface thereof, or to remove any other materials or objects from the Town-owned or leased land or property, except as follows: 1. Gold panning and metal detecting may continue within the boundaries of Fain Park, so long as such activity is limited to - a. use of gold pans, metal detectors, and hand tools such as picks and shovels [use of motorized or mechanical equipment or mining aids (e.g. sluice boxes, dry washers, gold screws, gold bugs, rocker boxes, wheel barrows or other devices designed to increase production above that level obtained with gold pans and hand tools) is prohibited]; b. excavations made below the high water mark of the stream channel that do not damage or disturb root systems of live vegetation and are filled in before the area is left; c. day use [no fires, washing of utensils, or camping is permitted as part of the activity, all trash is to be disposed of in marked receptacles, and Park restrooms are to be used instead of depositing or burying human waste in the Park]; and d. use of metal detectors to locate mineral deposits such as gold and silver [it is not permitted to use metal detectors in Fain Park to search for treasure trove, to locate historical and prehistorical artifacts and features, or to search for recent coins and lost metal objects]. 2. Historical presentations related to mining activity in the area may continue within the boundaries of Fain Park, so long as such presentations are limited to: a. those made by bona fide historical organizations during Town-sponsored or approved activities in the Park.

No, the parks do not have BBQ grills as there is no method for safe disposal of charcoal or wood debris at the parks. This is especially important during the fire restriction periods. Please see the Central Yavapai Fire District's website for more information and dates for fire restrictions.

Yes, our pickleball courts are located at Santa Fe Station Park, 6751 E. Santa Fe Loop Road. Tennis courts are available for public use at Bradshaw Mountain High School West Campus located at 6000 E. Long Look Drive.
You can pay your bill at the Civic Center at the cashier window. The address is 7501 East Skoog Boulevard, Prescott Valley. Payments placed in the drop box will be posted the next business day. You can also mail your payment to: Prescott Valley Water System P.O. Box 80025 Prescott, AZ 86304-8025.
Your bill is due and payable on or before the due date printed on the bill. Your payment may be made by these methods:Mail - Send a check or money order in the enclosed envelope with the bottom portion of your bill.Do not send cash.
Night Drop Box - For your after-hours convenience, we have a drop box located in the parking lot in front of the Civic Center. Place your payment stub and check or money order in a clearly marked envelope with your name and address on it. Payments deposited after 3pm are posted the next business day.
On-line - We accept credit card payments through our Web site at www.pvaz.net. You must first establish a Personal Identification Number in advance before you can make an on-line payment. See the Web site for details. Payments made after 3pm are posted the next business day.
Over The Phone - We accept debit/credit card payments (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express) over the phone at 928-759-3120. Please have your Town account number and debit/credit card information ready.
In Person - We accept cash, checks, money orders and debit or credit cards at the Civic Center at the 2nd floor Cashier Window.
Bank Draft - You can have your utility bill automatically deducted from your checking or savings account. Please contact the Customer Accounts Division at 928-759-3020 for details. You must complete a form with your account information and furnish us with a voided check. The form is available in our office, on the Web site or we can mail it to you.
Your water bill is due 20 days after the billing date. Late payments will be assessed a penalty. If you are paying your bill on or near the due date, it is recommended that you pay your bill in person at the Civic Center (7501 East Skoog Boulevard - 2nd floor cashier window) to avoid the late penalty and disconnect.
When you phone in an emergency you will be asked to identify as much as you can about the source of the problem. Your service area maintenance contractor will dispatch a technician immediately depending on the severity. Action taken will also depend on the severity of the emergency. Please note after hours fees may apply.
