    SilverKite Community Art Classes: Paper Flowers, Sat, May 1st@ 1:30 pm. April showers bring May flowers, even if you do not have a garden! In this workshop you will learn some basic techniques to transform paper into a beautiful blossom. Paper flowers can be as fancy or playful as your imagination and materials will allow. See what you have around your house! What you will need: *An assortment of paper: construction paper, card stock, magazines, tissue paper, crepe paper, paper streamers, etc *An assortment of adhesives: Tacky Glue or other craft glue, double stick tape, glue stick, hot glue or floral tape *Stem materials: could include floral wire, sculpture wire, pipe cleaners, straws or sticks *Scissors *Something to score paper, it could be a bone folder, popsicle stick or a dried-out ballpoint pen This class is free.
