  1. National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week

    April 12, 2020 - April 18, 2020

"Every year during the second week of April, the telecommunications personnel in the public safety community, are honored. This week-long event initially set up in 1981 by Patricia Anderson of the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office in California, is a time to celebrate and thank those who dedicate their lives to serving the public. It is a week that should be set aside so everyone can be made aware of their hard work and dedication. We encourage all of you to celebrate and honor yourselves, your co-workers, your bosses, and your employees. Take the time this week to host a party, reach out to your local media and public officials, or launch an awards program. This blog will provide helpful tools and suggestions aimed at making National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week 2018 a memorable one for you and your colleagues."
