The Prescott Valley Police Foundation will host its second annual “Thank the Blue” event starting at 6:30 p.m. on May 12 at the Theater on the Green, Prescott Valley Civic Center. Thank the Blue is an event for the public to express thanks to our law enforcement personnel and the job they do every day to keep Prescott Valley safe.
The event will start with a “Drive By Salute.” Those who would like to participate should meet in the Findlay Toyota parking lot at 6 p.m. to line up. Decorations are encouraged!
The band Muddbone will play before and after the program. The 7 p.m. program will include the Police & Fire Honor Guard and CAFMA Pipes & Drums. Brief remarks by Mayor Kell Palguta, Congressman Paul Gosar, and HUSD Supt. John Pothast will follow.
The Foundation is asking local children and adults to write and send letters of appreciation to Prescott Valley Police officers. These will be included in a book to be presented to Chief Steven Roser during the event. Several letters from children will be chosen to be read by the
writer during the program.
Please send letters to Prescott Valley Police Foundation, P.O. Box 27532, Prescott Valley, AZ, 86312. Please send letters by Friday, April 30, 2021.
