COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT SERVICES
The Town of Prescott Valley Civic Center is open to the public; however, due the health concerns of COVID-19 Virus, masks are being requested to be worn while inside the building and social distancing where indicated. All Departments will be available via telephone and email as well. The Staff and Department Directory can be located on our website at www.pvaz.net.
- PERMIT APPLICATIONS: Permit Applications are available on our Website at WWW.pvaz.net. Any difficulty in locating the necessary documents please contact the Community Development Department at (928) 759-3050.
- ZONING APPLICATIONS: Completed Zoning Applications and Plot Plan with signature, date, and clear contact information (Phone Number and Email) can be emailed to comdev@pvaz.net , mailed or brought in to the Community Development Department 2nd Floor (Parking Lot Level) of the Civic Center at 7501 E. Skoog Blvd.
- BUILDING PERMIT APPLICATIONS: Completed Building Permit Applications and Plot Plan with all documents signed and dated, with clear contact information (Phone Number and Email) & when submitted with 8 ½” x 11” size plans. The Application and Plans can be emailed to comdev@pvaz.net , mailed, or brought into the Community Development Department 2nd Floor (Parking Lot Level) of the Civic Center at 7501 E. Skoog Blvd.
- BUILDING PERMIT APPLICATIONS WITH LARGE OR ROLLED PLANS: The application, required documents can be mailed, or brought in to the Community Development Department 2nd Floor (Parking Lot Level) of the Civic Center at 7501 E. Skoog Blvd. Prior to submitting the documents please ensure that they are signed and dated with clear contact information (Phone Number and Email).
- COMMERCIAL PERMIT APPLICATIONS: The application, required documents all signed and dated, with clear contact information (Phone Number and Email) can be mailed, or brought in to the Community Development Department 2nd Floor (Parking Lot Level) of the Civic Center at 7501 E. Skoog Blvd.
- ENGINEERING APPLICATIONS/ LARGE ROLLED PLANS/ AND REPORTS: The application, required documents, and plans can be mailed, or brought in to the Community Development Department 2nd Floor (Parking Lot Level) of the Civic Center at 7501 E. Skoog Blvd. Prior to submitting the documents please ensure that they are signed and dated with clear contact information (Phone Number and Email).
- PERMIT PICKUP: The Town of Prescott Valley Civic Center is now open for business. The Community Development Counter is available Monday-Friday 7AM – 5PM. Due to the COVID-19 Virus, we have some safety measures in place that may cause you slight delays when entering our department. You or your team can pick up the permit at the Community Development Dept. counter 2nd Floor Entrance (Parking Lot Level) at 7501 E. Skoog Blvd.
- INSPECTIONS: All inspection requests must be called in prior to 6:30 A.M. for same day inspection to our IVR (Interactive Voice Response System) (928)759-3060. Inspections can be scheduled up-to 5-days in advance. Instructions/brochure is available on our website.
- APPOINTMENTS: Onsite Civic Center Appointments will be limited to 12-persons maximum and will be a case-by-case basis. Please contact us at (928) 759-3050.

The Community Development Department consists of the Building/Safety, Planning and Development, and Neighborhood Services/Code Enforcement divisions. The department’s goal is to provide services to the community to assist with the planned, quality development of the Town of Prescott Valley in a courteous and efficient manner.
