Drop-In Tech Help
Need help with your computer, tablet, phone or other technology? Prescott Valley Public Library can assist you!
PVPL provides Windows 10 laptops, but please bring any device that you need assistance with —tablet, e-reader, laptop, phone, etc.—and our experienced staff will do their best to answer your questions. Please bring USB and/or power cables for your device. Apple device users may need their Apple account credentials. Kindle device users may need their Amazon account credentials. Help with e-books requires a valid library card. People will be helped on a first come, first served basis.
Drop-In Tech Help is intended to help with learning new skills, not repairing equipment.
Drop-In Tech Help sessions are held each Tuesday afternoon, from 3-5pm and Friday morning, from 10am-12pm in the 2nd Floor PC Lab. For more information call 928.759.3040.

May VA Workshop Series – Memorial Day, Prescott National Cemetery & Community Managed Care
Prescott Valley Public Library (7401 East Skoog Blvd.) will be hosting the next workshop in the VA Workshops Series. The topic is ‘Memorial Day, Prescott National Cemetery & Community Managed Care’. The workshop will be held Tuesday, May 7th, 2019 @ 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm in the Glassford Hill Room. The presentation is for ALL veterans.
The event will consist of Memorial Day Event & Prescott National Cemetery discussions and a presentation on Community Managed Care. Plus, information tables with representatives from: health Administration Services to enroll Veterans and answer questions and MyHealtheVet to enroll Veterans in the patient portal.

Classes will be conducted every Tuesday, from 6-7:30 pm in the Children's Program Room and all who need language practice in an informal setting are encouraged to participate. You will have plenty of opportunities to learn new vocabulary, practice conversational skills, and build confidence in language usage through fun and interactive activities. Master Gardener Talk: Vegetable Garden Summer
Prescott Valley Public Library (7401 East Skoog Blvd) will be hosting ‘Master Gardener Talks’. Kathleen Corum started in the School of Agriculture at University, completing a M.S. in Animal Breeding and Genetics. Since retirement she now volunteers for the Cooperative Extension Service as a Master Gardener and completed a Permaculture certification through Oregon State University in 2017. She has an extensive home garden with many fruit trees, shrubs and vines and grow a small urban vegetable garden with herbs and perennial vegetables as well.
Some of the areas that will be covered in this presentation is Listing of Herbs & Companion Plants, Sprays for Insects, Hints for Fruit Growers, Watering, Self -watering Containers, and Drip Irrigation Systems.
This program is free. No registration is required.
