REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN - Prescott Valley Public Library (7401 E. Skoog Blvd) is offering Windows 10 (Tuesdays, February 5, 12 & 19 from 1-3pm). Windows 10 - This course covers the basics of setting up Windows 10 securely and getting the most out of the more common features. This course will show students how to easily and quickly use the Start screen, download apps, customize their computer, add accounts, and enjoy all the latest features in no time. This Windows 10 class assumes the student has some experience of a previous version of Windows. Class numbers are limited so please register online at pvlib.net, Attend, Classes. VA Workshop–Veterans Town Hall Meeting
Prescott Valley Public Library will be hosting the VA Workshops Series. The topic ‘Veterans Town Hall Meeting’. The Town Meeting will be held Tues, Feb 12, 2019 @ 5:00 – 6:30 pm in the Glassford Hill Room. There will be an additional ½ hour after the presentation for questions. Informational tables, subject matter expects and VA Leadership will be in attendance to answer questions about services available at the VA.
Veterans ‘Town Hall Meetings’ are designed to allow feedback from Veterans, family members and other stakeholders. Caring for Veterans is a calling, and the VA’s first commitment is to provide Veterans, and their families, the timely quality care and benefits they have earned and deserve. We seek continual improvement and it is critical that we continue to listen and learn directly from those who use our serves.

Beginning in January, the Prescott Valley Public Library (7401 E. Skoog Blvd.) will host free civics classes for those applying for U.S. citizenship. Starting on January 22nd the class will meet every Tuesday from 5:30-7:00 PM in the library’s 2nd floor PC Lab. Classes will end in 10 weeks on March 26th. Registration is required. Classes will be conducted every Tuesday, from 6-7:30 pm in the Children's Program Room and all who need language practice in an informal setting are encouraged to participate. You will have plenty of opportunities to learn new vocabulary, practice conversational skills, and build confidence in language usage through fun and interactive activities.
