Prescott Valley Economic Development Foundation (PVEDF)
The Town of Prescott Valley takes a 3-pronged approach to economic development. The Prescott Valley Economic Development Foundation (PVEDF), an independent non-profit membership organization, was organized in the late 1990s and has contracted with the town to provide industrial development recruitment. The PVEDF focuses on recruiting value-added jobs to the economy - a vital role in this growing economy.

Along with the town's economic development division, the PVEDF is an all-encompassing resource of information ranging from the work force study recently completed to the area's strategic economic development plan. The organization was awarded the Governor's Spirit of Success Award in 2002 for its success in enhancing the economic development in Prescott Valley. In 2006, the Arizona Association of Economic Developers awarded former Executive Director Gary Marks its Economic Developer of the Year Award for small communities. In 2007, the Town of Prescott Valley and the Prescott Valley Event Center won the prestigious Governor's Excellence Award for Innovative Economic Development.

PVEDF is a 1-stop resource for information on relocating or starting a business in Prescott Valley. PVEDF provides such information as workforce, local economy, employers and available properties. Several information sources are available through PVEDF, including the tri-city region, Arizona Workforce Report and 2007 Strategic Economic Development Plan.
